hi,
i have a ThinkCentre M50 8189-N24
intermittingly, the display would turn a blueish purplish colour,, with thick white lines running down the length of the screen, at this time the mouse pointer is still visible, but you cannot do anything with this.
there is nothing in the event log to say that the display driver has failed, and a re-boot solves the issue.
I also have fully updated the system using IBM’s system update tool. and im sure its got the correct drivers etc. have you any suggestions on how to fix this. it might happen once every day or once every week. I have ran the pc-doctor test also and they all come back ok. I ran separate tests on the memory and they all passed also.
regards
Damien
