UK: X60, X30, Broken R50e, Zeroshock, Power Adapter, DVDRW
Hello everyone, I love Thinkpads but I've got too many laptops and I need to create space and liquidity.
So help me decide which gets voted off the island.
The IBM Thinkpad X30 comes with one battery, the power adapter, a wireless card, 1.2ghz CPU, 256mb RAM and a 40gb HDD. Everything works beautifully well, there is no trackpoint drift (someone's called it nipple drift) and the battery lasts over 3 hours with my normal use (word processing, internet browsing). £185 or best offer.
The Thinkpad X60 has 2 extended batteries, the power adapter, 2gb RAM, a 60gb HDD, and the docking bay with the DVD-CDRW drive. Everything works well here also and the batteries last a long time. £600 or best offer.
The last of my Thinkpads is an R50e with battery, power adapter, integrated wireless, 512mb RAM and an 80gb HDD. The backlight is not working, but the screen still works. You just need a flashlight to see what's going on. £50 or best offer.
There is an Elecom Zeroshock neoprene/memory foam/space-age material zippered sleeve that fits the R50e and other 14.1inch laptops perfectly. This is one of the most popular and expensive sleeves in Japan and East Asia. Google is your friend. £10
I used a Freecom CDRW / DVDRW drive with the X30. £22 and she's yours.
I am also selling a spare power adapter for £5. It's good to have an extra one at the office so you don't have to bring your adapter from home along with you.
Please don't be afraid to send me your offers. Depending on the offers, I'll make a decision about which laptop to keep. I live in Central London, and would be more than happy to meet up if anyone's interested. There just aren't any good laptop fora for the UK, so I hope this gets to a local buyer. I'm willing to ship overseas as well, of course.
I have excellent feedback on rangefinderforum.com under the same username. You can find feedback in the classifieds there.
Thank you very much for reading.
