Some bluetooth questions

#1 Post by ndoggfromhell » Mon Mar 17, 2008 3:44 pm

I'm thinking about adding bluetooth to my r52. I can easily get to the modem card, can i just replace it with one that has bluetooth. I can't find any documentation mentioning the need for an antenna as well. Is an antenna necessary?

I've undergone this on my R40 - the bluetooth antenna IS needed, without it, the range is so small, that the phone or whatever must be placed on on the keyboard to actually get found.

You don't have to use the genuine one, I have this one (not sure if from this ebayer, but it looks the same) inside, and the range is really great.
