Apple Leopard OS on TP?

#1 Post by argonaut » Tue Mar 18, 2008 4:42 pm

Is it possible to install Apple Leopard on a Thinkpad?

I can install Windows on an Apple computer, but can this work the other way? Thanks.

Sorry, I saw the "OS X" forum but I didn't realise it was a reference to Apple's 'X' - I had been looking for 'Leopard'.

Yes. You need to do some reading and gather what will work and what not (like read from people's experiences if your specific Wifi/Ethernet/Audio/Powermanagement/etc will work out of the box or with manually applying patches, or not at all), and if you choose to proceed with installation then you need to get a hold of the latest install dvd images, as well as purchase a "backup" license from Apple.
