Before using, please mail $400.00 to (insert name here) for processing and activation fee.

Sounds like a new scam to me........

It does seem legit, and most likely is.

All I'm going to say to OP is: Enjoy. Seriously. I'm glad someone is reaping some benefit out of these scam meisters.

I only hope to live and see the day that eBay and PayPal go down in flames, the way my wife has lived to see Bear Stearns go down....

As a former Vice-President of Bear Stearns, who got made redundant almost right after 9/11 (together with another 1'000 people or so), I was not surprised at all to see them come down with a bang!
When I joined Bear Stearns, they proudly claimed to never have dismissed any staff in over 70 years!
Only 2-1/2 years later the 'rot' started setting in (i.e. 9/11 see above).
Served them right!

In Dublin, Ireland.
They made Dublin their (financial) corporate headquarters purely for tax reasons, i.e. they did not have to pay any corporate taxes in Ireland for the first (I think 10) years.

Is that $750.- on top of the earlier $400.- and is that for the same case settlement?
If so, WOW! :thumbs-UP:

I just got screwed over buy a E-Bay seller for a Wii that at first, I didn't receive from a purchase on March 7th, until about the 23rd, and secondly, ended up to be a Japanese version.

I filed a non-receipt case with paypal, and after I got it, re-filed as a not as described claim. It'd be nice to get a coupon for the $350 I might be out of.....

to top it off, before it came in, I get a message from E-Bay telling me to take all possible steps to get my money back, and that the listing was possiby fraudulent. So they take it off of E-bay, and the seller is no longer a registered user!

Ugh.....
