Help with Power Management Issue

#1 Post by andyb3 » Tue Mar 18, 2008 10:39 pm

Hello All,

I hope that someone can help me with a power management issue on my X300.

When I leave the machine alone for a few minutes, I have to enter my password to regain access to the desktop. I have set the power management functions to "never" for display and hard disk "sleeping, but it doesn't seem to help. Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong? Something simple, I'm sure.

PS - this was never an issue on my T61, so I'm wondering if it is something X300 specific.

Thanks

it's more than likely that when your screensaver goes in the system locks. I have mine enabled just so i don't have to manually lock it when i walk away sometimes and not remember to do so :)

Girlfriends like to snoop when i'm gone. Fingerprint readers are godsend!
