T43 Compatibility

Can anyone tell me if the T43's hard drive is swappable with those for the T23? I'm thinking of replacing my T23 with a T43 and want to be able to use the memory chips & drives.... mainly to swap OS's that way. Don't think it is possible, but I wanted to check.

The drive won't work right away. And the memory won't work at all.

Look into sysprep, it's supposed to prevent the crashing that happens when you just swap a drive without changing anything.

The T43 normally uses a different Hardware Extraction Layer than earlier models (HALAACPI vs. HALACPI). Sysprep doesn't support that change.
