Calling all X40 owners...

I've got an X40 on the way from IBM and I need your help! I want to order a shaggymac micro-suede cloth and have it here when the lappy arrives, but I need some kind soul to measure their X40 for me using the following guidelines:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

OK, here goes:

inner lip edges: 26.8 cm
under the hinge to above the latch: 19.8cm

But, you'll have to trim it.

The dimensions of my radtech screensavr, after some slight trimming to achieve the second measurement below:

25.5 - ("inner lip edges")

and

18.9

and it fits perfectly.

hrm, my radtech cloth fits my X40 keyboard absolutely perfectly... ok... maybe an extra cm on the top, but it's fine.

yeah - mine fit pretty good as well, but i didn't want the cloth being caught up in the hinge and adding any undue stress.

I have the same x40 (2371 model)

but I have not CD-RW/DVD Combo Drive and did not see any model of x40 2371

How is it possible ? External ?sdaniels

Yes, I've got the X4 UltraBase with an integrated CD-RW/DVD drive... Here's a picture of what it looks like.
