X61t dock and CD/DVD drive

So, does anyone have this dock and the drive? I have one, just hooked it up recently. When I went to install things, it seemed as if the thing was going to vibrate off the table and crash on the floor.

I mean, I am happy with a high speed CD drive, but it spins so VIOLENTLY I think it would break the glass table it is sitting on.

Is this NORMAL!?

One thing you should check before asking for replacement is, are the media being played in the drive burned at very high speed?

I have an X6 Ultrabase and have used my X61 on it with Ultrabay Slim CD-RW/DVD-ROM, Multiburner II and Multiburner III drives installed..... without any particular vibration issues.
