Seagate ESD 160G HDD Performance

Just get some times today, make a back up disc and change a seagate esd 160g hdd (5400rpm), first just want to save some power, (SSD too small for my job), after restore, I discover the performance is only 4.8 for the hdd, by when I start the computer, the reaction is much more faster than the 7k200 which come with the laptop, so is the performance test is not suitable for hybrid hdd?
