Yes, I updated all my drivers including the intel turbo memory (which isn't working for some reason) and the intel storage matrix drivers.
I just got my machine back from lenovo with a new motherboard and planar board and a fresh install of system.
any ideas?

I believe I figured it out. In another thread, someone mentioned to turn on AHCI mode and then do a full system reinstall.
I did this and intel turbo memory worked from the beginning and it's still running in AHCI mode - and Active Protection System is still running too. No conflicts and no BSOD's.
I'm not sure why this makes a difference and why the system can't adjust to having AHCI turned on after having the system reinstalled in SATA compatible mode. (I didn't do this, Lenovo replaced my planar card, hard drive, etc...)
I just used my restore CD's and did it again with AHCI turned on and so far so good.
