This is a question that I’m not really sure how to ask since I’m not that knowledgeable about Bluetooth.
I’m having problems to get my SonyEricsson hbh-iv835 headset to work with my X60. I know that Bluetooth is working since I’m using a BT mouse without problems. I know that the headset works since I use it with my W880.
The headset in question doesn’t have a pin code (using auto paring) but whenever I try to connect the device I’m getting a question about the pin code. Leaving the field blank doesn’t seem to work. All I get then is a message the authentication failed or that the headset closed down the connection.
Yes, the headset has been reset so it should be ready for auto paring. Not that is should matter since the device should be possible to pair with more than one unit.
I’m at a loss here. Any ideas?
