Rescue Disk Creation Failed

#1 Post by mlemon » Mon Mar 24, 2008 5:42 pm

Hello all.

Problem: I just purchased a used Z61m with a clean install of Vista Professional. No setup on it yet. Per your wise recommendations, I started to make the R&R CDs first. However, after the first one was burned I fat-fingered a dialog box and got kicked out of CD creation. Now a moderately smug dialog box informs me that I need to contact Lenovo (I assume they will want $49 for the disks).

Question: If I push the big bloody blue button (ThinkVantage?) and wait a while, will I end up with another clean install so I can make a full set of R&R disks?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

That is how it used to work. I am not sure about the Z61m.
