Hi -- When I reopen my lcd lid my windows are resized as if they were running under a smaller screen (but the screen resolution is fine at 1400x1050). E.g. if firefox is "too wide" for a lower-res screen, it will be resized after the lid is open (but the lcd is still at 1400x1050).
I think it has something to do with cycling thru the different Fn+F7 inputs as the lid is reopened (there is a delay before the screen returns, sometimes with blinking). Is there any way to "disable" the external monitor port altogether -- didn't see this in the BIOS.
I just want to be able to close my laptop lid and have it behave as if I had typed Fn+F3 (which works fine).
I've looked at very similar threads and tried the fixes, but nothing appears to work. I've uninstalled presentation director, but the problem persists. I've got everything up to date, and am apparently running all displays at 1400x1050.
thanks for any help!
