Does the x61/s have a loose screen? I read some reviews that said the screen was loose and just wondering if its still an issue.
Also, the x61 isn't the LV (low voltage) which makes sense for it to be faster. But looking at some benchmarks the x61s showed faster in some benchmarks.
I am thinking of purchasing a Thinkpad again (owner of T43) for work and since I travel 98% figure the x61/s would be a great model for me.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just got mine yesterday and so far I'm very happy -
there are no loose problems w/ the screen on mine - it feels very secure and tight... In general, the whole computer feels very solid - the keyboard is fantastic.
The screen isn't as bright or clear as my old LG notebook, but really it would be unfair to make the comparison since the LG had a higher resolution and I guess was known for having a good screen.
However, I did compare the screen to my dad's Panasonic --> it's one of the ultralight Toughbooks - and my screen is brighter, and with nicer colours.
I got the x61s mainly because I was worried about heat - I've had problems w/ notebooks heating up before, and I'm generally quite tough on all of my computers. So far, the bottom right corner of the computer - under my right palm - does feel slightly warm, but otherwise everything is fine -- the underside of the computer is cool to the touch.
I'm also really impressed w/ the battery life - I got the 8 cell battery, and so far I've been using it for 4 hours at high screen brightness, etc., and it's still going strong - there is over 40% left.

Resolution?
Hows the resolution on the 12.1" screen look? I figured 1024x768 is kind of big but haven't had the experience to really make an opinion.
