The following four P/N's or FRU's may be used to replace a long ("M10") fan in a T42p: 13R2657, 91P9251, 91P9252 and 41W5204. You may find these discussed many placed in this forum - search for each of them, and see the thread Noisy CPU fan on T-41 -need guidance (in particular the post by rbena) and Replacing My Fan (again, in particular the post by rbena).

When you are going to replace the fan, beware of what is discussed in Questions on Removing the Fan Unit from a T42. It has been reported that the "new" 41W5204 actually contain the 13R2657 - see the thread rattling fan - has anyone successfully fixed?.

But to answer your question - where to buy the fan from? Well, this question has also already been discussed here - see e.g. Where to buy 13R2657 from?. I just checked that the 41W5204 is sold as an original spare part directly from IBM Maintenance parts site (USA) for only $30.50 so compare other offers against this price! What is peculiar is that 91P9252 cost $50 also directly from IBM (?!).

If I may make a suggestion, I have had extremely good experience with baisley. You might contact him for your replacement fan.
