Thinkpad Hard Drive Question...

#1 Post by mcast1286 » Sat Mar 29, 2008 9:05 pm

Hi,

I have just purchased a refurbished A20m without a hard drive, and I'd like to buy a hard drive for it. How do I find the right compatible model hard drive for the corresponding computer model? I would like to do this online, but I'm finding that this is not that easy, unless I buy IBM, and spend alot of money. Does anyone have an online source they purchase from that is very good?

Thanks,

Mike

You can purchase any 2.5" 9.5mm IDE hard drive. They are also known as PATA. Any will work in your A machine.

There are a number of online resellers that will have what you need. You could also place a WTB post in the marketplace.
