How to verify Firewire port is working?

#1 Post by thinkpadlover07 » Tue Dec 07, 2004 12:08 pm

Is there a way to verify a Firewire port is working other than plugging in a Firewire device? If I see "1394 bus host controller" and "1394 Net Adapter" in Device Manager, does that necessarily confirm that the port itself is working?
