X61 Tablet as a touchscreen

#1 Post by MagicBoy » Mon Mar 31, 2008 9:20 am

Hiya,

I would like to use my X61 tablet in Windows XP as a touchscreen as opposed to having to use the digitised pen – ie I want to use my finger! Is there anyway of doing this?

Thanks
Using : T420 4236-CTO, MacBook Pro 15" (late 2011)
Gone : T42 2373-1WG,T43 2669-VRV,T60 1952-VRQ, T61 7661-CTO, MacBook Pro 1.83GHz, MacBook unibody 13" 2.4GHz

Only the MultiTouch tablet can work with a finger, as it's got a passive digitizer. The active digitizer in the non-MultiTouch tablet needs a tablet pen to work.

In other words, if it's not obvious how to use your finger on the screen, you can't do it. Sorry.
X61 Tablet - 1.6GHz C2D, SXGA+, 1GB RAM, 100GB HD, Vista Business.
