New X61. Any advice that I might have overlooked?

Ok, finally I got a new X61 and I am bequeathing my T60 to my wife (good excuse to get the X61). It arrived today, and I have yet to open it. I have been looking around the forum for all possible advice. I plan on installing an extra 2 Gb of RAM (I ordered it with 1), uninstall the programs I don't like (Access connections, CSS, and maybe something else), or maybe just not insall them in the first place. I then plan on installing my programs (office suite, endnote, etc.).
Of course that I will then make a full backup and create restore media (it might come with the DVDs, since I ordered Vista Business).

Is there anything else that I am missing? This is my first X**, so I don't know if there is anything different from the T** models. Any advice/recommendation/opinion is welcome.
