Ordered Vista Business and got Vista Basic

#1 Post by rmendoza » Mon Mar 31, 2008 10:05 pm

I just got my X61 today. I noticed that the sticker on the computer says Vista Basic, yet I ordered Vista Business. Does this make a difference? Thanks.

I would contact Lenovo. I ordered a Vista Business machine, got it today, and it says Vista Business on the sticker as well as in My Computer -> Properties. ... JDH

I just went through the initial setup, and it has Vista Business installed, but the sticker says Basic. This might sound petty but...

I would rather have no stickers on my palmrest. :)

What matters is the COA sticker on the bottom. What does it say?

I noticed this too when I got my X61t last year, but it was VBusiness installed and on the sticker. They probably just ran out of stickers, since the X61t with SXGA+ I got at the same time had a vista business sticker.

The sticker at the bottom says Vista Business. I was thinking, and I guess it's like Bill says, it won't make that much difference what it says on the top sticker. Thanks for all the answers though.
