weird antenna issues with Sprint 595U card inside x61t

I took my sprint 595u card apart and put the mini pci card into the second slot. I used Zender's bios fix and it works great. However, the antenna has problems. It's weird because if I take the palm rest off and the card out of the usb slot then it immediately drops the signal. This is even with the foam antenna attached. I took the antennas off the wifi card and attached them to the 595u card and it works great. Only problem now is the GPS doesn't get signal anymore. I really liked the gps because I used it for finding my location with googlemaps. Does anyone know how to fix this gps antenna problem?
