FireFox add-ons

I found this new add-on Webmail Notifier for firefox. It states you get notified for other email accounts like yahoo and hotmail. If you have other email accounts that are not listed, you can write a script and be notified. I have read through some examples to create them, but I don't know/understand how to write scripts. If any have used this or have the scripts, can you help me make them?
