Dear All,

I am facing problem in Lenovo 3000/N200 Thinkpad MTM#0769-A63. Thinkpad Fails to wake from sleep mode/standby mode in Xp pro OS.All device drivers and BIOS is Updated.

Your 7 character product number shows that your lenovo 3000 machine came with DOS license so when you say you're running Windows XPP, do you mean you've SP2 installed from Microsoft as well?

SP2 is very crucial as it addresses many problems including sleep/standby and hibernation issues. To give you an idea, there is an issue where notebooks with 1GB memory (which your machine has) running Windows XP without SP2 will not enter standby state, so make sure to install SP2 in case you haven't.

In addition, double check you've the following driver installed from lenovo:

Power management driver for Windows XP - 3000 N200. (follow the installation instructions precisely)

i have a 0687-a31 and i can't get the unit to reliably go to standby or hiberation in xp

i install the right driver but it's 99% never allows me to use the close lid function
