The case and palmrest have no cracks or serious scratches. The IBM warranty extends until September, 2008, and was upgraded to include Thinkpad Protection Service, which means it is covered for spills and drops, etc. There are no chips on the keyboard. There are no missing screws or screw covers. The laptop was returned to its original factory configuration including the restore image, then hot fixes, IBM driver updates and the latest version of Acrobat Reader were installed. The battery holds a charge, but I did not do a run-down test so I cannot guarantee run time.
The laptop comes with an A/C adapter.
