Bluetooth device listed in Device Manager but doesn't work?

Bluetooth device listed in Device Manager but doesn't work?

My bluetooth device is listed in Device Manager as "ThinkPad Bluetooth w. Enhanced Data Rate". The device is reported working and everything looks fine, but it cannot be detected in either "my bluetooth neighborhood" or "Bluetooth setting" in control panel. They both report "no bluetooth device detected". Please help.

Press Fn-F5 and see if bluetooth radio is turned on in the first place ...
