All laptops have factory fresh reimage.

This ThinkPad is in Excellent and may show some signs of normal wear. It is a lease turn in from a corporate enviroment. The LCD is an XGA that is clean with no dead pixels. The laptop is tight and solid and very high quality and performs and functions perfectly. I personally spend several hours using each one of the latops I sale to make sure all of the "quirks" are worked out with them. I sell all of my electronic items AS-IS.

My laptops are personally used by me and I make sure they are solid before I sell them. I have a good rep and I am not out to screw anyone.

how are the batteries in these units? I am concerned about battery life on these, so if you can tell me the health of each, I would appreciate it.

Could you list the video chipset for second T42? I'm trying to find it, but I can only find the chipset for the first one.

Model numbers would be more handy than motherboard FRUs IMO...unless they're Frankenpads and have been put together with different components.

As for the 39T5468, the title of this eBay listing would indicate it's the Radeon 9600 (the 64MB GPU). I think there may have been some T42s with the 9600 and an XGA screen as opposed to the more common 9600/SXGA+ combination.
