Problem connecting AT&T Cell tethered modem to Vista on

I was able to use this same cell phone on Cingular with XP and get good download speeds at 3G.

After about a year of not using it, I tried to make it go on Vista 64 on a T60P, and it just won't connect. I have been on the phone to AT&T for about 3 hours and no solution. I get RAS Error code 31.

I was finally told to remove Access Connections. I told them no. I was able to use it on XP with Access connection installed, just fine.

Any suggestions?

hmm.. well you're in Rockville, I'm around that area so maybe i could sort it for you. I use mine with my Blackjack II no problem. Granted this is not Vista 64bit but it works.

Are you using the cable or over bluetooth? I would remove active connections but alas you shouldn't have to

But i guess if you are using PAN or DUN via Bluetooth or something else would help.
