T60 multi-burner only burns from Itunes

#1 Post by ShaggyDog » Mon Apr 07, 2008 12:55 am

My T60 recently stopped being able to burn data, music, anything on CD or DVD from any windows (XP) programs (WMP, normal "copy to CD, or Copy commands). HOWEVER, I can burn any music on CD or DVD through Itunes.
I've unistalled Itunes, no luck, reinstalled latest version, same as before.

Any thoughts, help??

How about recording from the preloaded Recordnow program?

Did you recently do a System Update or a Windows Update?

Did the buring capability stop right after the update?

Thanks for the thoughts - it wasn't associated to new system updates etc - only possibility was the Itunes.
I had to reload the OS way back and never reloaded Sonic. I just did now & I can record using Sonic, so it works & I'll use Sonic from now on vs. windows.
Thanks again for the help.
