A31p 1.08 Bios update / Video corruption fix..?

IBM notes for this update mention it fixes:
" (Fix) Screen garbage appears on A31p."

has this been proven by anyone experiencing this problem?

I installed it yesterday and didn't get the problem so far, but it was intermittent before. doesn't prove anything yet, in my opinion.
I think It had to do with overall system temperature on my machine it always happend when playing DVD's in heated rooms... but the weather isn't as cold now, must wait for a cold front to test it...

Since applying the fix I didn't encounter any of those problems again.
