My SD Reader not working - X61

Hello,

I've been using my SD Card Reader under Windows Vista normally until recently, I decided to install Windows XP instead. Now, the SD Reader does not work anymore. I inserted the card, and nothing happen.

Under System, Hardware, Device Manager, Secure Digital Host Controller, there is still this "SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller" which is reported "working properly.

Any idea? Pls advise.

You need the following patch:

The 923293 hotfix adds support for SD High Capacity memory cards in Windows XP.
