T22 '26478EU' no video in FULL SCREEN mode
Hello!
My laptop's configuration is
T22 26478EU with updated Bios ver. 1.12 (16ET32WW);
512Mb/80Gb HDD/add-on PCMCIA wireless card NEC Atherm PA-WL/54AG driver ver. 1.1.3.0 by Nec;
Video is S3 Savage/IX 1014
with new drivers from IBM's site ver. 6.13.10.7050;
latest Config Utility, PCI Combo drivers for LAN/modem, Presentation Director ver. 1.32, Supplement Files v. 1.20 (only those for my system and OS), ACPI ver. 1.44 --- NO PM package w/battery maximiser was installed due to problem it gives to my aftermarket extended battery within WinXP setup upon suspension or standby ---.
*Also, T22 looks like doesn't get along well with aftermarket extended battery and battery's light/icon on the case is just constantly blinking until I'll power cycle the whole system*
(I can look up battery's Manufacturer and model # but this is 2nd after market battery that T22 doesn't fully support and it gives problems if I'm trying to use it w/o AC adapter --> Windows recognizes it as there's no charge left and goes into Hibernation Mode despite the battery is being fully charged. Can fix it only if completely power cycle the machine, meaning turn it OFF for some time).
My OS is WinXP Pro /SP2 with all new updates.
My problem is no full screen video mode on Youtube. Really frustrating. It did work before with Windows' native drivers, but then there's NO support for S-Video Out. With latest video drivers from Lenovo S-Video works but no full screen mode available on Youtube.
I've checked Youtube's troubleshooting help screen at
http://www.google.com/support/youtube/b ... swer=72689
and it says to check for new Adobe Flash Player and updated video drivers from manufacturer. My video driver is the latest, and Adobe Flash Player 9.0.115.0
Any thoughts??? I would really appreciate any input!!!
Thanks.

I'll try it!!! and will let know about the results, but where can I find the older version of the BIOS? There's NONE on Lenovo's site... Also, at the current setup with the latest BIOS, the S-Video feature does work BUT for some reason the picture on TV is oversized/extended to a point when I have to scroll up/down and right/left in order to navigate through the TV's screen. Meaning --> it's impossible to watch videos on TV.phool@round wrote:Downgrade your BIOS version.
I've tried to change resolution on the laptop and do some tune up within the driver's settings. No luck.
Should I downgrade to the previous version of the BIOS or the one before it????
Thanks again for the idea.
*NOTE* just read up onto similar issue for T23 and folks recommended to play around with profiles within Presentation Director utility. Will try it for my S-Video problem after downgrade of the BIOS.

Right about playing with the "profiles" in Presentation Director.
Thanks for the reply. I've tried casual search through Google for the older BIOS version but didn't find anything. Will try to look for some kind of archive directory on Lenovo site --> they put up there only the latest BIOS version.

This is what you need; BIOS Page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll find all the BIOS versions back to 2001 with a hypertext link to download it.
