Rescue & Recovery - Backup to SPECIFIC partition -SOLVED

#1 Post by iminj » Wed Apr 09, 2008 3:37 pm

I am using RnR 4.20 and would like to backup to a USB Hard Drive with 2 NTFS partitions on it.

Here's my problem:

When I open RnR > Set Schedule and Locations, my only choices for backup location are as follows:

(1) Local hard drive
(2) 2nd hard drive (which I don't have)
(3) USB hard drive
(4) network drive

Is there any way within RnR to define the specific partition where the backups are to be placed? Right now, Rnr is pointing to the 1st partition on the USB drive (I think, based on the size), and I want the backups to go into the 2nd partition on this drive.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

OK, I figured it out!

After you select the drive (in my case, USB hard drive), and click "Apply" .... then a box opens which enables the user to select the partition. Not very intuitive design, but it works! Problem solved.
