Access connections loses internet connection when lid closes

hi folks,

i just started running access connections again, and it's turning off my wireless connection when i close the lid to my t43. I have it set to not do anything when the lid is closed. any ideas? thanks folks.

when your lid closes its a windows default to put the laptop into sleep mode therefore cutting power to any acessory. you need to adjust windows behavior (if i remember correctly display properties, screensaver, power; or control panel, power)

Keep in mind that with a wireless connection, when you close the lid you are changing the plane of the antennas from vertical to horizontal, so you may simply be losing the connection because the WiFi signal level has dropped significantly.
