I am excited about my new T42 I just got today. I had a t40 previously that I had to send back as it had problems.
I am just wondering why this model doesnt have the battery status monitor on the tool bar that tells you how much time is left. Is there a way to get that?? I have no idea how much time is left on the battery or if it is charging at all...

Yeah.. I think its in control panel and power options. Show battery meter on taskbar but I can't remember? Notebook hardware control has one built in too that looks nicer imo.
