The good news is that the computer sleeps with no problem and the wireless card does NOT wake it up. I am digging in to the difference between our kexts for this.

The bad news is that my graphics STILL become distorted after waking up I have no clue... I will try to think of something else that maybe we can check.

if you could do me another favor... if you could install pci utils and then open a terminal and run 'lspci' and give me the output, that would be great. I want to see if our video cards are the same revision.

I wonder, why I have this small resolution marked in my boot.plist. But the baby is running from the beginning with 1440 x 900.

After remarking graphic distortion, did you install your Intel x3100 combo driver again? As i wrote before, I got this graphic distortion too, after reinstalling your driver it was ok.

The pci utils I can run earliest in 3 hour after I cam home. Her in the office I have only the Windoof (Winstupid) PC.

this is a tough problem! I checked my lspci output and we have the exact same revision of the X3100, so there is no difference there!

I did re-install the combo drivers again, but still no luck! I get the 1440x900 display when I boot (I think that kernel Graphics directive is ignored), so all works normally there. It's still just a problem after sleeping.

I managed to find one other person with the same symptoms as me, except his occur without sleeping:

I thought that this was weird so I started to dig around in my system to find this string. I found that it was included in an EFI string that I used once to try and fix my brightness without using Shades. Once I removed this string from /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist it worked!! Yesssss A fully working laptop!

If I just copy this kext in to my system with my whole series of kexts, the machine does not boot from a kernel panic. Therefore, some other changes are needed to get EHCISleepEnabler working in snow leopard. I wonder if myHack installed this for you? Or did you install this yourself?

A sneaking suspicion is coming over me.
My former 10.5.8 installation I got also running with proper sleep mode. This EHCISleepEnabler.kext I still keep. It cud be, in my desperation after many broken installation I tried this kext also.

Hey, I did try to install the iPC 10.5.6 today, and patch the voodoopower, GMA X3100 to my thinkpad X300, it works so great. But the problem is I get problem on the 4965AGN, I know there is no driver for the intel wifi. So, may I please ask which Atheros wifi card is supported by the iPC 10.5.6?

Also, even though I put the computer in sleep mode by press Fn+F4, the screen turned off, but the computer keep running and lost battery, any idea of that?
And there is any patch I can use to control the brightness for my X300?

Some months ago I run iPC 10.5.6 with after updates to 10.5.8 without too much problems.
But I can tell you 10.6 is running much better and more stable. If you are back reading the posts from gnychis and me, you could install it without problems. This is my personal recommendation. The update to 10.6.1 I could make as on a real Mac. With iPC...., Kallyway.... and all other version it was always a insecure doing. With totally unknown outcome.

Yes, the 4965AGN doesn't work. It is a special version for Lenovo. I try to run it in a Eee-PC, doesn't want.
For sorry I can not give you a concrete name, I bought my Atheros 1 year ago from China. You have to google it. They are some recommended running wifi cards available.

First of all it will be nice to know, are you still running iPC 10.5.6 as said before, or you went to actual 10.6.1 as recommended.

With ScrLk down and Pause up, I can change the brightness on my X300. But I'm running 10.6.1.
Only thing not running yet is the internal micro.

Believe me, on the end only the internal micro isn't working. Do not loose time with 10.5.8
Bluetooth I have no need of it. Can't say is it running without problem or not.
