Transnote will not see USB CD-ROM
I have a few Transnotes that I received without hard drives, I can't get the Transnote to boot from a USB CD-ROM, I have enabled the USB and put the removable devices in the first place in the boot startup sequence , what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Tim

That's not what I was referring to...
Switch the "boot mode" in BIOS to "Diagnostics" and see whether your USB CD-ROM will be recognized, which I doubt. This is under "startup" section in BIOS.
Good luck.

That's what I figured would be the case. You'll have to get one of those old IBM PCMCIA external CD-ROMs and start from there...model is either 1968 or 1969, they pop up on eBay quite often, at least they used to...
Good luck.
