Recommend X61T with WWAN?

#1 Post by snots » Sat Apr 12, 2008 11:14 am

I was about to pull the trigger but the Lenovo website only offers the X61T with WWAN.

I don't intend to use WWAN and won't ever. What are the drawbacks getting a X61T that has WWAN (assuming you never use it)?

You can call in to get your order configured without WWAN.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

I won't say it's buggy, usually on weekends they run maintenance tasks.

Yes, you can use your CPP discount on phone (1-800-426-3675).
