Is the Lenovo website and ThinkVantage both down?

#1 Post by T7TrainingSystems » Sun Apr 13, 2008 1:39 am

Can anybody confirm for me that ThinkVantage is down?

When I run ThinkVantage System Update, I get the message:

"The Package Index Server is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

and the Lenovo website in Support and Drivers doesn't work either (including the 'contact' link to let Lenovo know).

I'm posting here...

- to confirm it's not just my computer (I'm halfway through reinstalling my T60 using ThinkVantage for the first time, so there's some doubt in my mind), and

- to find out if this happens often, and if it takes say an hour (it's been about an hour) or a day or a week to come back up usually.

Help?

Thanks!

Yes, just checked a few hours ago. Whoo hoo! The fresh installation is looking sweet and with the 7200rpm drive it's snappy as! :D
