I have a T40 that ive bought on second hand. It originates from the US (im living in sweden) and i dont have any original proof of purchase, but i do have a receipt of my purchase from the second hand seller.
So my questions are, is it enough for warranty service?,
... and also where do i register my thinkpad with IBM?
The thing is that i had another T40 before this one but exchanged the two since this one is better equipped and i simply swapped the harddrives between the two, and i am pretty sure i registered the former T40 with ibm but serials from the old one are still on the drive.
What do I do to correct this?
registering my thinkad at IBM - what makes valid warranty ?!
