A21e 1801 Error on 2877 Dock

I am acquiring 2878 and 2877 docks as the family transition to the T4x/R5x series machines. These docks worked fine with my A31/A31p.

I was surprised to find that when I try to boot an A21e (type 2655) I got an 1801 error. Has anyone had similar errors?

I will do more testing with T23, A22m, A22p on these docks.

I was under the impression that "e" models were not compatible with docks.

The A21e and A22e type 2655 and 2628 do have a dock connector. I think R50e and after don't.

In A-series, Type 2655 isn't supported model for IBM ThinkPad Dock II = 2877.

Also, according to the following document:

The ThinkPad Dock and ThinkPad Dock II are not supported with the following: ThinkPad A21e (2655) and A22e systems.

Docking station, port replicator, and expansion - ThinkPad General.

However not sure why IBM ThinkPad Mini-Dock = 2878 is giving you the error.

I checked today. 2878 works fine with A21e type 2655. It is just 2877 will not work.
