Left clicks spontaneously

#1 Post by kitching » Wed Apr 16, 2008 4:10 pm

Hi - I just got a new T61p thinkpad, and everything works great, except it spontaneously left clicks, even when nothing is touching the keyboard.

Any ideas on how to make it less sensitive?

Do you think it is the trackpoint or the ultranav?

You could disable the ultranav to confirm.

If you are using the Touch Pad, or did not disable it, then I have found that Touch Pads have a life of their own. Things are always happening that I did not intend. ... JDH

I agree with JD. What happens, in my personal experience, is that while you are using the trackpoint, part of your palm might be coming into contact with the touchpad, and that generates random clicks that you did not intend to have.
