Getting Jabra BT 250 to work on A31p

#1 Post by lou146 » Thu Dec 09, 2004 6:31 am

Just purchased a Jabra BT 250 even though I am able to discover and pair it with Bluetooth on an A31p, I can't seem to get any audio in or out of it. Brand new at this and totally confused as to how to change the input output settings in control panel. Using Win XP Pro. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Just noticed that even though I upgraded to the newest Bluetooth driver there is no headset service shown in the local services panel. Is there a way to add headset service? Why would it be missing?

Thanks.

For XP, sometimes the Microsoft Bluetooth stack can be loaded instead of the IBM one. What is listed for your bluetooth device in Device Manager? If it is the Microsoft ones, you must uninstall them...and do the IBM driver package, assuming native Bluetooth support in your model Thinkpad...

Excuse my ignorance on this subject but there are two instances of Bluetooth in Device manager. Bluetooth LAN Server and Bluetooth Communication ports (COM5 and COM6). Both have WIDCOMM INC drivers. Are these Microsoft or IBM?

Thank you for any help.
