Problem with "Enhanced Video Renderer" on Intel gr

Hi I just bought myself an X61s and sold my T43.

I have a couple of problems, but one of the most annoying is that I can't seem to use the "Enhanced Video Renderer" (EVR) in Vista.

If it works, it gives me far superior picture qulity and stability than the rendering methods available.

I have concluded that it must be a driver problem, as I have read a thread on another forum, where theres a lot of people, all with Intel Graphics adaptors, having the same problem. (Link) but I'm wondering if there should be someone here with a solution.
