hardware calibration is the best idea. You can go to amazon and find out about some really professional LCD color calibrator.
If you don't want to shell out money, however, adobe website do have some stock calibrated color profile that you can apply readily to your laptop.
In addition, Lenovo do have the monitor driver file, along with a Flexview color profile that you can use.

avalon: does the adobe one require using the adobe gamma program? i really don't like the add-ons adobe makes you use that give you no ability to uninstall it or tell it not to start with windows.
where can you download the lenovo profiles?
i saw a webpage a little white ago that, i think, helped you eyeball color correction. gotta remember where i bookmarked it ...

I don't know what's up with the new search engine available on Lenovo's site.. it's hard to find what you were looking for compared with the previous. But here it isbri wrote:where can you download the lenovo profiles?

Here's the link to the Adobe color profile. You don't need to install adobe gamma at all. The color reproduction is pretty good with this profile, so try it outbri wrote:avalon: does the adobe one require using the adobe gamma program? i really don't like the add-ons adobe makes you use that give you no ability to uninstall it or tell it not to start with windows.
