Can I switch connection profiles seamlessly?

I usually have my T60 on the dock, hardwired, running vpn to my corporate network. Is there a way to switch to wireless profile seamlessly? If I try to do this in access connections, the vpn is dropped when switching from hardwired to wireless and I have to log in again.....PITA.

There isn't a way to do it with an active session that is in progress (i.e. a file transfer, download or an VPN tunnel etc) but apart from that, the switch will be otherwise seamless.

Thanks. I think I might just leave it on wireless even when docked.
