Is my tablet pen slot broken, or is this normal?

Is my tablet pen slot broken, or is this normal?

#1 Post by thewhippingboy » Mon Apr 21, 2008 4:30 pm

Hi,

Does anyone know how the mechanism for the pen slot works? I keep pressing mine in there and it keeps bouncing out with the spring mechanism, it takes a few tries before it actually catches and locks the pen into the slot. It's somewhat of an annoyance because i use the tablet mode a lot. I never get the pen in on the first try.

Is this normal, or do you have to press it in there a few time before it catches?

Thank You

I don't have this problem with mine. I push it in and it clicks in place, first time.

Hey man, I had to have that mechanism replaced. IT did what you were talking about. I dealt for a while but when the tech that replaced my motherboard was doing that I had him also replace the pen holder. get it fixed-they are super cheapo in there.
