How can I disable "password manager" ?
I don't want the "password manager" to be started up automatically. It's useless for me. how could I disable it? Thank you!
I searched the "services manager", also couldn't find any startup item about it in the "System Configuration utility".
Someone said it could be disable in the CSS, but I still can't find anything.

Welcome to the forum, naclx.
This should work:
Start > All Programs > ThinkVantage > Client Security Solution > Password Manager > Disable
Like you, I was unable to find any entry referencing Password Manager in either Windows Services or msconfig. It appears that CSS is the only venue through which Password Manager can be enabled or turned off.

hi, USSS, I'm sorry to bother you again.
When you said "Password Manager > Disable " could disable PM, I thought you meant "Password Manager > Set Preference > Advanced > Application support > Enable Password Manager".
I turned off it, but now I found it didn't work. The next time I open PM, this check mark has been turned on again.
Is there something I did wrong, or something different between our version of CSS (mine is 7.0)?

You need to update to CSS 8.0, which is what I am using. The steps for CSS 7.0 may be different; I don't recall.naclx wrote:hi, USSS, I'm sorry to bother you again.
