Higher T30 max. resolution?

#1 Post by dmddoug » Tue Jun 01, 2004 8:27 am

The drivers I got from IBM for my T30 only allow me a max. resolution of 1024x768. The video card is a Mobility 7500. Is there anything I can do to get a higher max. resolution (at least 1280x1024)?

I assume you mean on an external monitor - you can't get higher resolution on the LCD.

You need to install a different monitor driver - either the driver for your actual monitor or a generic SVGA 1280x1024 driver.

Yeah, I did mean on the LCD. I don't understand how every other T series laptop I've used goes much high that 1024x768 and the T30 doesn't.

Some of the T30 models were able to display 1400x1050 resolution. Your T30 is consequently not one of these. Sorry. You can attach an external monitor.

What is the actual model number of your T30? (on the bottom - something like 2647-5RU - but not exactly that.)
