Hi Guys,
I poorly positioned my desk lamp today and it melted the plastic piece that fits in the little hole on the top of my monitor, half way between the top buttons to open it up. Anyone know how I could go about getting a new little piece to fill the hole? The old one seemed to have have a weak spot in the middle where the plastic melted and deformed really quickly, there's no way I can heat it up and shape it back.
I had another incident with a cleaner that melted the plastic below the keyboard, the thing looks like its been through a war, would it be hard to buy just a new chassis?
Matt

Check this for getting the right FRU-number for the needed part. You can order it at IBM then (pay attention to the right type of your thinkpad and the right size of your LCD screen!!)
